7 Ultimate Tweets That Perfectly Sum Up Married Life

Married life. There’s so much that is said and written about married life, that it’s difficult to know where to start. It’s said that getting married is a huge milestone in everyone’s life, that it acts as a marker that divides your life into two halves and that, for better or for worse, it changes you. Changes you as a person, changes your priorities and changes how you function in life. At the same time, there are others who say married life is really no different then being in a committed live-in relationship, that there really is not much of a difference in how you live before and after getting married and that, despite the hype, things actually remain the same.

As much as I’d like to say ‘to each his own’, I have to agree with the former lot of people. Getting married is, without a doubt, a big change in one’s life. And ask anyone who has recently tied the knot (people in the best position to answer this question), they’ll tell you just how big of a change this actually is. While it might seem like, on paper at least, that marriage is just a change of status, it’s really so much more than that. Not only do your priorities change, the way you looked at the world changes as well. In most cases, you tend to become more mature, more responsible and more selfless. You start understanding the value of compromising, you start making more adjustments than ever before and you actually start feeling like you’ve finally entered adulthood.

But why should you listen to me ramble on about what married life is actually like, when some folks on Twitter were able to perfectly define the situation within 140 characters?
On that note, here are 7 ultimate tweets about married life that perfectly sum up what married life is all about:
