These Images Prove That India Is Gradually Accepting Actors On The Basis Of Their Talent

The biggest problem with Bollywood is, Sabko Hero banna hai, Actor nahi.

This urge to look gorgeous and have a macho personality is one of the reasons for mediocrity to creep its way into Bollywood. In the race of working hard to look better, many artists ignore the most important aspect of cinema – Acting.

Luckily, there are some who don’t fall under this category. Talented supremos who have seen it all before making a mark on the big screens. Struggle is the word to define their journey and perseverance is the attribute which makes them what they are.

This evolution is for the good and with actors like Nawaz and Irrfan getting commercial success, we can expect Achche Din in Hindi Cinema.

Also, when it comes to fan-following, the Khans and Kapoors take the cake. However, there is a gradual shift observed in audiences. The deserving ones are getting some attention from the fans and eventually from the media.

Here are some images that will restore your faith in Cinema and will bring a smile on your face.

A Khan who is way talented than the other three combined.

Nawazuddin being classy and casual at the same time.

A selfie that captures two of India’s finest actors – Manoj Bajpai and Rajkumar Rao.

These men are legends.

A man whose work speaks volumes

Underrated and Unlucky are the words to describe him

Kay Kay Menon at IIM-Lucknow. Talent and brilliance personified in one pic.

What saddens me is the fact that it took me ages to find these pictures. A Google search of ‘Kay Kay Menon or Nawazuddin Siddiqui with fans‘ results in almost nothing as compared to a Salman Khan or an Akshay Kumar.

Mass-appeal has always triumphed over excellence but things are getting better as we speak.

On that note, let’s hope that brilliance rises above mediocrity, some day.
