After Losing The U.P. Elections, Rahul Gandhi’s Name Has Been Proposed For A Guinness World Record

Congress Party’s Vice President and touted ‘youth leader’ Rahul Gandhi can’t seem to escape headlines for about a 1000th week in a row. After Congress’s embarrassing defeat in the UP elections, the Congress Vice-President has something to prove to both his haters and supporters alike.

An engineering student from Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh noticed the consistency with Congress’s performance in elections under Rahul Gandhi’s command. So, he did what no other person would do.

Vishal Diwan, an engineering student from Hoshangabad, Madhya Pradesh has approached the administration of Guinness World Records to propose and induct Rahul Gandhi in the records for losing 27 elections in a row. This count in itself is impressive enough to get qualified for record book.

According to an Financial Express report, Vishal believes that the state of the Congress party in the last 5 years has a lot to do with Rahul Gandhi’s visibility in the election spectrum. No one, even Rahul Gandhi supporters aren’t unaware of the immense amount of trolling Rahul Gandhi receives on the internet.

This proposal to the Guinness World Records could either be a by-product of this online trolling or another incident of trolling Rahul Gandhi in itself.

According to the report, Vishal Diwan has submitted the application fee to Guinness and have even received a confirmation of his application being received. Whether it gets approved or not, only time will tell.
