MS Dhoni has been busy with the duties of leading the Jharkhand team in national tournaments. We had earlier reported Dhoni’s lovely gesture for his teammates when he travelled with them in a train.
The skipper is in Delhi along with his state’s team for the Vijay Hazare trophy. The entire team was staying at the Welcome Hotel located in Sector 10, Dwarka.
TOI reported that at 6:40 am, the Delhi Fire Services received a fire alert in the hotel where MS and his team were staying.
A team of 30 firefighters was sent and by 7:50 am, things were under control. Luckily, there were no casualties reported.
However, the entire team’s kit got burnt to ashes and subsequently, the match which was scheduled today has been postponed until tomorrow.
Post retiring from his duties as the captain, Dhoni’s involvement in Jharkhand’s matches has been to a next level altogether. MS has captained all the six matches in the Vijay Hazare trophy so far.
Involving big names in smaller competitions is an interesting way to get the audiences interested. Dhoni’s presence in these matches has managed to gather decent crowds. So much so that the President of Cricket Association of Bengal, Sourav Ganguly, decided to impart some tricks of the trade to Bengal captain Manoj Tiwary before the match.
So much so, that the President of Cricket Association of Bengal, Sourav Ganguly, flew all the way to impart some tricks of the trade to Bengal captain Manoj Tiwary before their match against Jharkhand.
Well, that’s what MS Dhoni does to the opposition.
This narrow escape comes as a huge sigh of relief to all cricket fans. Long live MS!
