The RSS is infamous for their constant ‘fight for nationalism’ and uncalled hatred towards ‘everything western’. Right from that jeans you’ve been wearing for years, to that burger joint you visit, or the International School that you studied in.
However, in a recent report by Daily O, RSS chiefs have announced a new mission in hand. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and all-India joint secretary Dattatreya Hosabale are going to UK next month to attend a few high profile meetings with celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Sir Richard Branson and Sir David Attenborough.
Wondering what job do the RSS have with these stars? It’s simple- Vegetarianism.
RSS is well known for its obsession with beef-ban and turns out, it is planning to use likes of Oscar winning star Leonardo to add more star-power to their demand. Smart, isn’t it?
DiCaprio, a naturalist is a pure vegan and even gave a powerful speech on the threats spoke about the threats of climate change at the UN for a 2015 documentary Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret. The documentary was about animal agriculture industry’s agonizing practices.
Richard Branson, who turned vegan in 2014 wrote a blog on why he gave up his favourite food – beef. An entrepreneur himself, he also announced to launch a vegetarian airline in his last year press interview.
The actors sure has a huge fan following in India and seeking them for fulfilling the beef-ban agenda is the newest idea by RSS.
Whether this agenda be fruitful or not, time will tell!
