Ecstasy often leads to a celebration. I said often, not every single time. In the case of Ghanian footballer Mohammed Anas, ecstasy led to a moment of unwanted honesty.
Anas plays for South African club Free State Stars F.C in the Division football league. After an exceptional game of football, he was declared the Man of the Match.
In a moment of exhilaration, the footballer went on to thank his wife and his girlfriend for his performance on the field.
Sports journalist Gary Al-Smith shared a tweet with a record of this hilarious incident.

This dude owes major explanations.
Things not to say on national television
What cracked me up was the immediate apology. It was one of those situations where you know you’re screwed and you say things to make it worse.
Twitter obviously took no time in reacting to this wtf-did-I-just-say moment.
I doubt his entry in his house as well.
This guy has bigger doubts.
A valiant attempt at saving a fallen hero’s ass.
Definitely NOT a language issue.
When you don’t know what to say, just STFU!
I’m pretty sure this guy ain’t giving post-match interviews any time soon.
